Hi! I’m Kare Neufeld. I’m the Office Administrator at Camp Kadesh.

I love working behind the scenes at Camp Kadesh. When my husband, Tim, and I moved here for his job, I saw all the camps located on Christopher Lake and wondered if there was a good one and if I could find work there. I found the best camp on the lake!

I’ve always worked at administrative jobs, for various doctors and for a municipality and had not really considered (or had the opportunity) to work at a camp. At camp I get to serve God by, hopefully, making things run smoothly by having all the administrative details taken care of so that those running the programs can focus on their jobs. I may be exhausted at the end of the day, but each morning I am eager to come back to camp! I enjoy working with the young staff members - they are so encouraging to me and I hope that I can encourage them right back. I volunteer at Prince Albert Alliance Church, working in the Toddler room (yes, I LOVE babies). I enjoy reading, gardening and just hanging out in my yard.

My husband and I live off site on an acreage about 25 minutes west of Camp Kadesh. We have two grown children, one in Melfort and the other in Sherwood Park. We also have two dogs and a cat to keep us company at home.
