Camp Kadesh Rental Policy
Introduction & Restrictions
Mid Prairie Scripture Mission Inc. o/a as Camp Kadesh is an incorporated charitable organization that exists to help people experience the love of Jesus (Advancement of Christian Religion). Additionally Camp Kadesh seeks to cultivate transformational relationships, develop Kingdom leaders, and strengthen commitment to the local church. Any use of our facilities by external groups need to be in line with the mission and purpose of Camp Kadesh. All activities or programs run using our facilities must also be inline with our mission and purpose. Camp Kadesh programming will always take precedence over any time available to third parties. Camp Kadesh reserves the right to not rent to any groups that are not compatible with our charitable purpose.

Insurance requirements:
Rental groups must provide proof of insurance coverage:
Commercial General Liability, to include coverage for personal injury and property damage with limits of not less than $2 million per occurrence (without limitation or exclusion for camp/recreational activities).
Renter shall add Mid Prairie Scripture Mission, o/a Camp Kadesh as an “additional insured.”
Renter shall provide Mid Prairie Scripture Mission, o/a Camp Kadesh with a Certificate of Insurance evidencing the above.
Requirements and Restrictions
No alcoholic beverages, cannabis or illegal drugs are permitted on the property. Smoking is limited to the designated area in the parking lot.
No nut products or food that contains nuts.
Private entertainment shall not be used in a way that compromises the philosophy of Kadesh.
Modesty & discretion are expected in speech, behaviour and dress.
It is expected that single males and females will be assigned to separate sleeping accommodations.
Buildings and grounds are to be quiet between 11:00pm until 7:00am.
Pets are not allowed on premises.
All groups are to provide their own first aid. Please bring a first aid kit with you.
Kadesh does not provide lifeguards for rental groups. To go swimming your group must provide a qualified lifeguard and follow National Lifeguarding Society guidelines for a waterfront.
When using the waterfront you do so at your own risk. All waterfront safety policies must be followed:
Do not swim alone
Everyone must wear life jackets in any boat
Do not swim or boat after sunset
Rental arrangements include only the buildings/rooms requested and it is expected that retreaters not make use of other facilities.
Recreational vehicles (ie; ATV, dirt bikes, snowmobiles) are not to be used on camp property except in the parking lot.
When riding bikes on camp property, everyone under 18 must wear a helmet at all times.
When playing ice hockey, everyone under 18 must wear a helmet at all times.
Competent adult supervision (age 18 and over) is required in every cabin, at least 2 adults required for the 2nd floor of the chalet.
When campers are under age 18, groups must provide a supervisor to camper ratio of 1:15 while on site.
Equipment must be used with due care and returned to its proper storage area immediately after use. Losses and/or damages must be reported to your host. The amount will be assessed using the following guidelines:
Damage to, or loss of, Camp Kadesh property and/or equipment will be assessed a fine appropriate to the item that is damaged.
Vandalism to Camp Kadesh property will incur a minimum fine of $50/infraction. A higher fee may be charged depending on the extent of the damage.
Misuse of fire safety equipment (extinguishers, detectors, etc.) will incur a minimum fine of $150 per piece of equipment.
Vehicles should not be parked anywhere but the parking lot without permission from Camp Kadesh staff
Fires may only be built in designated campfire location.
Trees are not to be cut or injured in any way.
Camp Kadesh does not assume responsibility for personal property and vehicles on our premises.
Cooking in meeting or sleeping areas is not permitted.
Kadesh reserves the right to take any necessary action, even to the point of dismissing individuals or groups from the camp grounds should the above policies not be adhered to.
Unsafe or illegal activity will not be allowed and, if engaged in contrary to policy, is cause for immediate revocation of the Rental Agreement.
